Tucked away inside a medieval building in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona is the Temple of Augustus (or what’s left of it). Nine metre high Corinthian style columns, nearly as old as the city itself. I found this beautiful piece on a door in a dark corner opposite and nearly missed it. Even with hardly any light around I had to capture it, as I love the textures and colours. It also reflects the vibe and feel of what is Barcelona’s street art, colourful and all over shutters and roller doors.
